About Me

Kia Ora kōtou, ko Katipa toku ingoa. My School is the legendary Paihia School, as you can tell by the name it’s located in Paihia and my culture is Maori.

My pepeha is

Ko Poerua toku maunga,

Ko Waitangi toku awa,

Ko Ngatokimatawhauroa toku waka,

ko Ngapuhi te iwi, Ko Nga Ti Kawa te hapu,

ko Te Tii toku marae,

ko Paihia toku kura,

ko Apiata toku whanau,

ko Katipa toku Ingoa.

As a learner I really enjoy reading and mostly writing because it helps me express my imagination about knights, vikings and more. BUT, I am not very good at maths because when it comes to measurement it is hard for me to properly calculate it.

I am inspired mostly by Alan Walker, who is a D.J I like him because in his songs he has extremely powerful messages, for example his song “Alone”, in alone he is telling people that when they are being bullied or picked on, there will ALWAYS be companions on your side to help.

This year I am really looking forward to making new friends.
